On thursday-friday) I took my sister to the War & Peace show at the Hop Farm in Kent (the place of my youth! I have many tiny-me memories from the Hop Farm).. which was excellent actually! We stayed with my gran, which was nice because usually when I see her there are so many people there that it’s basically just momentary chat and hall-passing. The show itself was great too, I’d definitely recommend it and I’ll probably talk more about it later. It was surprisingly cool.

But on the way there, on the train I got a liiittle bit of practice at life-drawing. Which I REALLY NEEDED, I haven’t done any for a shameful amount of time. It’s pretty satisfying too, I do enjoy it. Not photorealism, obviously, but making people appear out of lines.. it makes me feel powerful and accomplished. So above: my sister frowning away at her ipod games, I think. It’s the best to draw people with weirdy expressions, I think. It gives a good idea of how faces work.
